As the budget session continues in Parliament, Prime Minister, yesterday, attacked the opposition parties over COVID mismanagement. PM alleged that Delhi and Maharashtra government forced the migrants to travel to UP, Bihar, Jharkhand, Punjab, etc, which triggered widespread COVID cases.
After which, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal took on Twitter to express his disappointment over PM’s speech. In his initial tweet, Kejriwal said, “This statement of Prime Minister is completely false. The country hopes that the Prime Minister will be sensitive to those who have suffered the pain of the Corona period, those who have lost their loved ones. It does not suit the Prime Minister to do politics on the sufferings of the people.”
In response to this, the UP CM Aditya Yoginath jumped in to defend the PM and alleged Kejriwal did an “undemocratic and inhuman” act.
Yogi tweeted in Hindi, “Listen Kejriwal, You forced the workers of UP to leave Delhi when the entire humanity was groaning due to the pain of Corona. Your government did an undemocratic and inhuman act like leaving even small children and women helpless on the UP border in the middle of the night. Call you a traitor or…”
In this series of counter charges, Kejriwal cornered Yogi on UP advertisements during the second wave. “Listen Yogi, You just let it be. Just like the dead bodies of the people of UP were flowing in the river and you were giving advertisements of your false applause in Times magazine by spending crores of rupees. I have never seen such a inhuman and cruel ruler like you,” he said in his tweet.
Both the CMs are indulging in tweet war as the assembly polls of Goa, Punjab, Uttarakhand and UP are just around the corner.
