The murder of Bajrang Dal activist, Harsha, on Sunday, that led to widespread arson and demonstrations by right wing activists in Shivamogga, Karnataka, was caused due to previous enmity as per Police.
Dr K Thiyagarajan, DIG Eastern range told the ANI: We’ve taken 3-4 persons into custody. As of now, we strongly believe this has happened with regard to the previous enmity. Law & order situation is under control. Further probe on.
The murder of the Bajrang Dal activist on Sunday, had sent the law and order situation in the city spilling out of control. Mobs had gone on a rampage across several localities in the region, pelting stones, damaging homes and businesses.
