ARSENAL BEAT BRENTFORD IN THE LONDON DERBY

Arsenal hosted Brentford in the Emirates stadium for a London derby today. Goals from Hale-End(Arsenal’s academy) boys, Emile smith Rowe and Bukayo Saka, in the 48th and 79th minute of the game respectively sealed all 3 points for the hosts as a consolation goal for Brentford in 90th minute scored by Norgaard proved to be too little too late.

After a controversial first half with Referee John Moss VAR Lee Mason deciding to turn down three major penalty appeals from Arsenal the first half ended goalless. Arsenal registered 16 shots in the first half, most in the PL this season.

21 year old Arsenal winger Emile Smith Rowe was back into the starting 11 for the North London as he scored a beautiful goal on the break for the hosts, Bukayo Saka sealed the win for Mikel Artetas youthful Arsenal in the 79th minute. After initially being disallowed VAR incharge Lee Mason awarded Brentford a goal in the 90th minute.

Arsenal register a 6th win in the last 8 games to stay 6th in the table sitting 1 point of the 4th spot with 2 games in hand.
