It isn’t just the points, though. It was just the way things turned out. The 2021/22 season had its share of low points, but this was not one of them. Xavi has promised to return Barça to their rightful place, and based on today’s performance, he is trying to keep his word.
This win puts FC Barcelona 4th in the La Liga spot at the Champions League qualifying Spot ahead of Athletico Madrid and 15 points behind rivals and league leaders Real Madrid.
