Delhi woke up to a wet Wednesday morning.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Monday had predicted thunderstorms with light to moderate intensity rain in the national capital and its adjoining areas.
“In Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, and Uttar Pradesh, widespread rainfall with thunderstorms and lightning is expected. On February 9, isolated rainfall is expected in east Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan. Meanwhile, isolated hailstorms are expected in west Uttar Pradesh. On February 9 and 10, West Bengal, Sikkim, Bihar, Jharkhand, and north Odisha can expect scattered rainfall.
