Commercial LPG cylinder price hiked by Rs. 105: Delhi

From Tuesday, March 1, onwards, the price of commercial LPG cylinders will be increased by Rs. 105 in the national capital.

After the new increment 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder will cost about Rs.2,012 with was earlier available at Rs 1,907.

Earlier, the cost of commercial LPG was slashed by Rs.91.50 bringing it down to 1,907 from Rs. 2,101 in Delhi, and now gain the prices have been soar. LPG cylinder rate is revised monthly for all the states and Union territories in India.

The price of 5 kg cylinder also increased by Rs. 27. Now 5 kg cylinder will cost Rs. 569 in Delhi. However, no increase in domestic LPG cylinders is observed.

The ongoing Russia-Ukraine war has impacted global crude oil prices. For India, which imports over 80% of its needs from other countries, the surge in oil prices will impact inflation.

Brent crude prices touched $105 a barrel before easing to $99.08 a barrel, a high last seen more than seven years ago.
