KCR meets Thackery to make a united front against BJP and Congress before 2024

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) met Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray in Mumbai on Sunday to propose a grand alliance against Bhartiya Janata Party and Congress.

During the press conference, Rao stated that they are ready to form a third front against the Saffron party (BJP) and the Grand old party of India (Congress). He also claimed that the ruling party is using central agencies for private benefits and this needs to stop now or else the country will suffer.

KCR praised Thackery’s policy and cooperation towards Telangana. “Our states share 1,000 km of the border. With the cooperation of the Maharashtra government, we built the Kaleshwaram project which has benefited Telangana,” he said.

Thackery also took a jib at BJP and its ‘Hindutva politics,’ saying “Hindutva doesn’t teach wrong politics. Some people solely work for their agendas, even if the country goes to hell.”

Earlier, KCR also met Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar at his residence. While discussing issues of farmers and poverty, KCR called Pawar an experienced leader. “This country needs to be run properly with a new agenda, new vision. I discussed the same with Sharad Pawar Ji. He is an experienced leader, has given me his blessings, and we will work together. Soon, a meeting with other like-minded parties will be held.”

After getting support from Thackeray, Pawar and Stalin KCR will soon meet Mamta to forge a regional party alliance before the 2024 general elections.
