Suryakumar Yadav scored a fine 31-ball 64 and Venkatesh 35 of 19 balls, as India managed to post a total of 184 for five against the West Indies at Eden Gardens in Kolkata.
In the ongoing third T20I, Suryakumar and Venkatesh Iyer partnered for 91 runs for the fifth wicket.
Suryakumar Yadav’s 65-run innings ensured India set a difficult 185-run goal for the Windies in the final match. Despite losing wickets throughout the innings, India scored 81 runs in the final five overs. Roston Chase’s excellent bowling couldn’t save the Windies in the end. Rohit Sharma was clean bowled by drakes. Kieren Pollard, the captain of the West Indies, won the toss and chose to bowl. Avesh Khan will make his debut for India today
