Defence Minister Rajnath Singh today faced the wrath of angry slogan-shouting men before he could begin his speech in. The angry youth were demanding recruitment within the Military.
“Sena bharti chalu karo (start recruitment in Military)”, “hamari maange poori karo (fulfil our demand)” were the slogans that the youngsters were shouting.
The Defence Minister then tried to pacify the crowd by saying, “hogi, hogi (Will probably be executed)”, “don’t worry”.
“Your fear is ours too. Attributable to coronavirus there have been just a few difficulties,” he then went on to explain in the rally in Gonda district of the state.
After assurance from Rajnath Singh, the crowd started chanting, “Bharat Mata Ki Jai”.
The BJP, in its manifesto, has promised jobs or self-employment alternatives to at the least one member of every household within the state.
