Prime Minister Narendra Modi while addressing a rally in Abohar, in Fazilka district in Punjab attacked the Congress over Channi’s yesterday’s comments. He said that Congress is a divisive force and it always pits one region against the other.
During a road show on Wednesday with Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on his side, he remarked that ‘he won’t let UP, Bihar ke bhaiya enter the state’.
He also said that history is a witness to Congresses betrayal of farmers. For long the recommendations of Swaminathan Commission were pending, but they chose to sit on the files and lied blatantly. When we formed our Govt at the Centre, we implemented those recommendations.
Urging the people to vote for the BJP her said, that Punjab today needed a govt that drew inspiration from patriotism, for the development of Punjab. “BJP has come before you with dedication, with the resolve of security & development of Punjab,” said the PM.
