Kashmir dispute will be the reason for India-Pakistan nuclear confrontation; Imran Khan

Imran Khan, Pakistan’s prime minister, said India’s decision to end Jammu and Kashmir’s special status in August 2019 has heightened Islamabad’s security worries.

According to Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan, there is now “no connection” between India and Pakistan, and discussions between the two nations can only take place if New Delhi restores the special status of Jammu and Kashmir.

Khan stated that the sole requirement for discussions with India is the restoration of Jammu and Kashmir’s special status. “ He answered, “Sure, go back to August 5, 2019, and yes, we can talk after that.”

The Indian government’s attitudes toward Pakistan and Kashmir, Khan added, have caused “a lot of fear in our part of the world, that we are dealing with a non-rational regime.” He claimed that Pakistan is dealing with a government “whose philosophy is founded on hatred for Muslims, minorities, and notably Pakistan, and it’s not a sensible government with whom we can communicate.”
