Brisk voting is on in many places in Uttar Pradesh. Till 11 AM 23.03% of voters had cast their votes in 9 districts.
Muradabad with 25.99% had the highest voting turnout, closely followed by Saharanpur at 25.26%. Bijnor at 24.34% was inching to the 25% mark.
Voting for 55 seats of Uttar Pradesh begins at 7 am on Monday, February 14th. 586 candidates are contesting in this phase from 55 seats spread across the districts of Saharanpur, Bijnor, Moradabad, Sambhal, Rampur, Amroha, Budaun, Bareilly and Shahjahanpur.
Calling out the voters of UP, ex-Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reminded the citizens of UP about their, “Rashtra Dharma,” while voting for the second phase.
Meanwhile, Union Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi was spotted at Rampur constituency to cast his vote.
On the other hand, the rival Samajwadi Party’s leader Akhilesh Yadav also urged more and more people to participate in the second phase of voting.
9.45% voters turnout till 9 am
Up until now 9.45% of voters tuned out for the second phase of UP polls, till 9 am.
District wise voting turnout
Amroha observed the highest voter turnout with 10. 83% and Bareilly observed the lowest count with 8.36%, up till now.

UP Minister Jitin Prasada casts his vote at Shahjahanpur
UP Minister Jitin Prasada was spotted at Shahjahanpur casting his vote for the second phase of UP polls.
Former Congress MP from Bareilly, Praveen Singh Aron and his wife Supriya Aron, who recently joined Samajwadi Party was also spotted at Sadar tensile to cast their vote.
23.03% voters turnout till 11 am
Up observed 23.03% of voters tuned out for the second phase of UP polls, till 11 am. Moradabad takes lead in voters counts with 25.99% and Bareilly registers the lowest count with 20.99% of voters turn out.
Baba Ramdev Spotted at the polling booth
Along with Acharya Balkrishna CEO of Patanjali, Baba Ramdev was also spotted at the Kankhal polling booth, at Dharmanagari Haridwar.
39.07% of voters turnout till 1 pm
Up observed 39.07 voters turnout till 1 pm. As Saharanpur takes lead in the highest average voters turnout with 42.44% and Shahjanpur at the bottom with 35.47% turnouts.
51.93% of voters turnout till 3 pm
Up observed 51.93% voters turnout till 3 pm. As Amroha takes lead in the highest average voters turnout with 60.06% and Shahjanpur at the bottom with 46.86% turnouts.
60.44% of voters turnout till 6 pm
The voting will conclude at 6 pm and with 60.44% voters turnout. Saharanpur received the highest voters turnout with 67.13% and Shajahanpur received the lowest count with 55.25% voters count.
The third phase of UP polls for 16 districts, will be held on February 20th.
