Dream of Ghazva-E-Hind will not come true even till ‘Qayamat,’ says Yogi

On the current Hijab row, ex-Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath made a strong statement, calling the ‘alleged conspirators’ behind the Hijab row, “Talibani.”

In an interview with ANI, Yogi said, “their dream of Gazva-E-Hind will not be fulfilled even till the “Qayamat”, and the government will function according to the constitution and not the Shariat law.”

He claimed that Prime Minister Narender Modi is a popular leader hence he doesn’t have to play “appeasement-politics” like other parties. They will follow the same old ‘Sabka Sath Sabka Vikas’ strategy therefore there is no place for appeasement in new India according to Yogi.

He clarified his stance on the Karnataka Hijab row and asked the students to follow the school uniform code. “I strongly believe that the system should run as per the Indian constitution. We cannot impose our personal beliefs, our fundamental rights, our personal likes and dislikes on the country or institutions.”

Further, emphasising the same point he said, “Am I asking the people and workers in UP to wear saffron? What they want to wear is their choice but in schools, there should be a dress code. This is the matter of schools and the discipline in schools.”

Meanwhile, the Karnataka High Court is set to resume hearing the Hijab case at 2:30 pm today. Schools in Karnataka will reopen from today as informed by the Chief Minister himself, except degree colleges and PU government college.
