On February 11, Deepika Padukone’s Gehraiyaan was launched on Amazon Prime Video. Ananya Panday, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Dhairya Karwa, Naseeruddin Shah, and Rajat Kapoor also star in the film, which received mixed reviews upon its release. Kangana Ranaut has now shared her review of the film on Instagram.
Kangana Ranaut called the Shakun Batra-directed film “crap” in an Instagram story. In her Instagram story, she said, “I am also a millennial but I identify and understand this kind of romance … in the name of millennial/new age/urban movies don’t sell trash pls … bad movies are bad movies no amount of skin show or pornography can _ save it … it’s a basic fact koi gehraiyaan wali baat Nahi hai (there is no depth in it).”
Kangana’s dislike for Deepika Padukone is not unknown. When a journalist questioned her opinion on an influencer bashing Deepika for her, she lost her temper and said she can’t defend those people who can’t defend themselves.
