In the ongoing second One-Day International against India at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, the West Indies are off to a cautious start. Suryakumar Yadav (64) and KL Rahul’s 91-run partnership for the fourth wicket helped India recover from a top-order collapse to post a score of 237 for 9. Deepak Hooda also came in late to help India past the 230-run mark. Odeon Smith was the most successful bowler for the West Indies, taking two wickets for 29 runs, while Alzarri Joseph also took two wickets. In addition to them, Kemar Roach, Jason Holder, Akeal Hosein, and Fabian Allen each took a wicket. West Indies won the toss and chose to bowl, with stand-in skipper Nicholas Pooran opting to bowl.
