The teaser for Jhund was released on Tuesday starring Amitabh Bachchan, Rinku rajguru and Akash Thosar. The film promises to be a major blockbuster this year.
The film is based on the life of Vijay Barse, the founder of the NGO Slum Soccer, who inspires slum residents to join a football club and teaches them. Foot-tapping music plays in the background as Amitabh Bachchan walks with his crew towards the camera in the teaser. Amitabh Bachchan plays the role of a football coach for the underprivileged in the film.
Nagraj Manjule is well known for directing critically acclaimed Marathi films like Pistulya, Fandry, and Sairat, among others. With Jhund, he will make his Bollywood debut as a director. Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Raaj Hiremath, Savita Raj Hiremath, and Nagraj Manjule are producers of the movie.
The movie winded up shooting in 2019 and will be released this year. the movie will be released under the T-series banner and Ajay Atul has given music to the film.
Jhund will come to theatres on 4 March 2022.
