The Star duo of Rohan Bopanna and Ramkumar Ramanathan put on a show to win the 2022 Tata Open Maharashtra doubles title with a surprise victory in the final at the Balewadi Stadium in Pune on Sunday. The Indians overcame Australia’s Luke Saville and John-Patrick Smith 6-7 (10-12), 6-3, 10-6 in a one-hour and 44-minute summit showdown to win their second ATP title together.
It was Bopanna’s 21st doubles victory, and his second in Pune, after he won it with Divij Sharan in 2019.
