Human rights campaigner and head of the United Kashmir People’s National Party, Sardar Shaukat Ali Kashmiri, stated Pakistan’s sympathy with Kashmir is founded on lies, and their objective is to deceive people and the world.
According to a human rights activist, Pakistan’s sympathy for Kashmir is founded on falsehoods and deceit.
He also stated that the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) is in China’s best interests, not that of Pakistan’s occupied Gilgit-Baltistan, Balochistan, and other provinces.
Kashmiri says “Pakistan always keeps on conspiring against Kashmir’s administration. Pakistan has ended state subjects for Pakistan Occupied Gilgit Baltistan and appointed lent officers in Kashmir.”
“Pakistan has imposed Act 74 on the people of Pakistan Occupied Kashmir, which limits their freedom of speech and has clauses that drive people of Kashmir to become Pakistanis,” he stated, criticising Pakistan for restricting freedom of expression in Kashmir.
He claims that Pakistan’s show of support for Kashmiris on February 5 is a ruse. “Pakistan has forcibly seized Kashmir, and the nation has never considered the Kashmiri people’s welfare,” he adds.
