Brentford FC sign Christian Eriksen, seven months after he suffered cardiac arrest, making an astounding return

“Christian Eriksen, the Danish midfielder who suffered a cardiac arrest at Euro 2020, has signed for Brentford FC in an amazing comeback”.

Christian Eriksen completed a remarkable comeback by signing for Brentford just seven months after suffering a cardiac arrest while playing for Denmark at the European Championship last year.

Despite being fitted with a pacemaker, the 29-year-old playmaker has signed a deal with Thomas Frank’s side until the end of the season. The ex- Inter Milan player terminated his contract by mutual consent with the club last month.

The pacemaker meant he was not allowed to play in Italian football, but other leagues do not have the same rules. When all seemed lost for Ericson he announced his return by signing for Brentford although he had been training with ajax for a while now his return to the premier league was unexpected.

Ericson previously played for Tottenham hotspur in the premier league before going to the Italian side Inter Milan, After his cardiac arrest scare at Euro 2020 he received solidarity messages from all over the world, it was predicted that he will never be able to play again but he proved everyone wrong by announcing his move to Brentford
