On Saturday, a clash broke out between security forces and terrorists in the Budgam district of Jammu and Kashmir.
IGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar announced that five Pakistan sponsored terrorists belonging to the militant group Lashkar-e-Taiba (Let) and Jaish-e-Mohammed(JeM) were neutralized in Pulwama and Budgam district. JeM commander Zahid Wani was also one of the terrorists killed by security forces in the last 12 hours.
There is a search operation still going on, till now arms and ammunition including 01 AK-56 rifle and other incriminating materials have been recovered from the encounter site.
